Programs

As the statewide mobility association, CTAI is responsible for the executive of the following statewide programs:

I-way

I-way is an initiative to improve mobility in Idaho by bringing together local providers, citizens, and agencies to better plan for and build future partnerships while meeting the unique needs of every community.

I-way's vision of a statewide system of flexible, convenient, accessible transportation options goes beyond the traditional focus of public transit to include all modes of transportation to get you to a medical appointment, to the big game, or home for the holidays.

Rural Transportation Assistance Program (RTAP)

CTAI also facilitates Idaho’s Rural Transportation Assistance Program (RTAP). RTAP is a federal program established and funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The purpose of the program is to provide a source of funding to assist in the design and implementation of training and technical assistance projects and other support services tailored to meet the specific needs of transit operators in areas with a population of less than 50,000.
