Wood River Valley Smart Moves Community Challenge

19-May-2011

The Smart Moves Community Challenge is the Wood River Valley’s only alternative transportation event, designed to encourage people to move themselves around the valley without a car. Participants track all of their Smart Moves trips taken by bike, foot, in-line skating, carpool, vanpool or bus on the official Trip Tracker. Every 10 trips is an entry into the end of the season prize drawing on August 24th which for 2011 includes a 2011/2012 season ski pass to Sun Valley Resort. Trip tracking is encouraged to be recorded online at www.rideshareonline.com or through a trip tracker brochure which will be available by May 12th, 2011 from Mountain Rides in Ketchum, the Blaine County Recreation District in Hailey, by calling 788-RIDE (7433) or as a printable pdf online at www.mountainrides.org. This year, there will also be several highlighted challenge weeks that count as double points and will have a prize awarded within that challenge category for that week.
