IMC Legislation Update

23-Mar-2012 Heather Wheeler has spent several hours at the Capitol working to build support for the IMC Legislation bill which will increase efficiencies of the PTAC and IWG and, increase the transparency and accountability of public transportation funding decisions in Idaho. Her work and action by the I’M 4 TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS coalition resulted in good support by key groups and individuals from across the state. However, a key opponent to this legislation has been working through its lobbyist to keep the bill from being heard. Wheeler will continue to work to identify the issues in opposing the bill in order to receive support at next year’s session.
