DOT Releases TIGER Grant NOFA; FTA Releases Urban Formula Circular26-Apr-2013 On Monday, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced the availability of $494 million in funds through the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) discretionary grant program. TIGER grants have supported capital improvement projects across the country, since their inception Fiscal Year (FY) 2009.
The $493.8 million made available in FY 2013 will be awarded, on a competitive basis, to projects of national, regional, or metropolitan-area significance. Applications will begin to be accepted on April 29, 2013 and final applications are due on June 3, 2013.
