Community Choices for Idaho - Call for Applications

Application deadline: Monday, July 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Board approved the Community Choices for Idaho program on June 19, 2013. The purpose of Community Choices for Idaho is to advance ITD’s strategic goals of Mobility, Safety, and Economic Opportunity while maximizing the use of federal funds.

The program will (1) provide an annual mechanism to solicit locally identified projects and deliver a process to identify potential funding and leveraging of federal funding opportunities, and (2) enhance ITD’s ability to leverage funding sources for sponsored projects, including the Transportation Alternatives Program funding source.

ITD is now soliciting Notice of Intent Applications for fiscal year 2014 project funding. The Notice of Intent Application is the first step of a two-part screening process. It is designed to establish that the project can satisfy threshold requirements for eligibility under federal and ITD guidelines. Eligible applicants proposing eligible project types will be invited to submit a more detailed project application. Information on applicant/project eligibility can be found in the Community Choices for Idaho program guide.

The Notice of Intent Application, a FY14 program schedule, and the Community Choices for Idaho program guide can be found at the links below:
