Boise State University Recognized for Biking Efforts

26-Oct-2012

On October 24th, the League of American Bicyclists announced the designation of nine new Bicycle Friendly Universities, growing the program to 44 colleges in 25 states.  The Bicycle Friendly University Program recognizes institutions of higher education which promote and provide a more bicycle friendly campus for students, staff, and visitors.

This fall, Boise State University (BSU) made the list in receiving a “Silver” level award category for their efforts to improve biking on campus.

BSU hosts a Cycle Learning Center where it provides a hands-on learning environment that empowers campus users to explore personal health and fitness, and sustainable transportation options. In addition, BSU provides students with bike rentals.

CTAI is proud to partner with BSU and congratulates them for their success in promoting bicycling!
